What We Do

Our Impact

Measuring what we value, not valuing what we measure

In education today there is a high level of measurement for literacy, numeracy, attendance and behaviour. This is useful and important AND there is much more to education than that. How do we measure the other things we value?

Creatable is on a journey to discover what else we should be measuring and how we should measure it. The more we work with successful industry practice, the more evident it becomes that there is a set of global capabilities that students today will need in the future. They will need global capabilities to solve global problems.

From our work with best practice in industry we have identified 4 skill development themes for these global capabilities

Truth in the new world
Navigating future complexity
Overcoming contextual cop-out and other convenient excuses
Action for a better tomorrow

Our courses are designed to unpack these skill development themes. As we progress on this journey we are committed to defining and building an impact index and assessment tool that will measure key global capabilities across the themes and provide insight on what skills need nurturing in students today to set them up for success tomorrow.

This is critical to our work and core to what we stand for and believe. We are genuinely on a journey of discovery and have the opportunity and resources to do this well and therefore the responsibility to equip educators with the information they need to continue to build a better future across our globe.

While on this journey we evaluate, learn and grow. Or as John Maynard Keynes once said

"When the facts change, I change my mind".
